The furnace wall bricks in the coking plant's porous carbonization room are subjected to repeated thermal stresses caused by the furnace door opening and closing, coal loading, and coke discharge. These stresses lead to brick breakage and surface deformation. Additionally, graphite buildup on the furnace wall surface complicates coke pushing, resulting in silicon brick breakage. Carbonization of coking coal causes gas leakage, exacerbated by the different thermal expansion coefficients of silicon bricks and carbon, causing varying expansion and contraction across different areas with temperature changes. This has led to cracking and peeling of the outer layer of silicon bricks on the carbonization room wall, creating irregular pits approximately 500 mm in diameter and 90 mm in depth. Furthermore, erosion has produced a pitted surface on the carbonization room wall, causing smoke leakage and affecting the furnace door's air-tightness and normal coke pushing operations.
The adoption of our ceramic welding technology has successfully addressed these issues. The welded areas have operated safely for ten months without any detachment.
