The port crown arch is exposed to temperature variations and high-temperature airflow scouring throughout the year, leading to the detachment of all first-ring arch bricks. This allows gas to prematurely enter the air channel and ignite. This not only exacerbates damage to the blast hole flat arch but also results in insufficient gas entering the furnace, incomplete combustion, inadequate combustion temperature, and shifting of the hot spot position, thereby affecting glass quality and production capacity.
Maintenance requirements include:
1. The welded repair must tightly and securely bond with the original bricks.
2. The welded repair itself must be resistant to scouring and firmly intact.
3. Due to significant temperature fluctuations during firing, the repair material must have a similar expansion coefficient to the original brick to prevent separation and peeling over prolonged use.
To address these challenges, our company employs high-temperature ceramic welding technology in conjunction with a high-temperature furnace periscope for repairs. After welding, the repair securely integrates with the original bricks, ensuring safe operation for one year
