The melting tank of  600T/D float glass, which has been in service for nearly six years, has a port in the regenerator that is eroded by various complex atmospheres and frequently exposed to flames. Local temperature changes in the furnace have caused the port arch leg bricks on the east and west sides of the melting furnace to peel off by approximately 50mm to 100mm. This has created a vertical gap of about 100mm to 200mm between the flat arch leg and the side wall of the port, with flames occasionally bursting out through the transparent gap and burning the columns. This significantly compromises the strength of the steel beam, weakens the stability of the steel structure, and poses a critical threat to the furnace's overall structure. The company's ceramic welding technology was used to weld the vertical gap between the flat arch leg and the side wall of the port from inside the furnace, ensuring a dense seal. This solution fundamentally resolves the issue of fire leakage, prevents further deterioration of the furnace structure, and extends the furnace's service life by two years
