At the entrance of the clarification section of the 500T float glass furnace neck, three rows of hanging wall bricks on the nose of the double "J" type hanging wall have fallen off. This has created a trapezoidal gap approximately 4500 mm in length, 450 mm in width at the lower opening, 250 mm in width at the upper opening, and 200 mm in thickness. The entire hanging wall has shifted downwards significantly, posing a serious risk to the furnace's structural safety. Faced with this complex situation, our company utilized ceramic welding combined with a high-temperature furnace periscope, ensuring minimal disruption to production. We successfully resolved the furnace's issues within just four days. The welded parts have been in use for twenty-five months without any issues.
